Your ideas aren't bad, but they could use some work. The main problem is in the quality of your animations. I think they could be a lot better. Flash 8 isn't the best there is, i know, but you can still do a lot with it.

i have flash cs3 but i use actionscriptt 2.0 because 3.0 is too different and complicated, no point starting all over again.
